What we check when receiving goods
- Quantity received – counting and weighing on entry to the warehouse.
- Packaging condition and integrity of the goods – checking for damage or visible problems.
- Supplier documents – comparing the goods received with the information in the accompanying documents.
- Batch and expiry date – recorded in the WMS for products where this information applies.
- Discrepancies found – photographing and recording the differences found on receipt.
